World Creators Forum to Unite Global Author Community in Beijing on 28 November

On 28 November, a special event focused on creators and creativity will take place in Beijing, China.

Hosted by CISAC and the China IP Law Association, the “World Creators Forum” will gather creators from around the world together with policy-makers, academics and representatives from authors' rights societies to discuss solutions for a sustainable creative eco-system in the new digital environment. The agenda includes:

  • The “transfer of value” in the digital economy
  • The importance of a resale right legislation for visual artists
  • 
The global campaign to introduce an unwaivable right to remuneration for audiovisual creators
  • The role and challenges for collective management in the 21st Century

Some of the world’s most renowned creators will take the stage to share their perspective on these issues. They will be joined by respected academic specialists, senior representatives from the Chinese government, and key figures from within CISAC and the collective management sector.
