Solange Cesarovna and Juca Novaes elected Vice Presidents of CIAM

The CIAM Executive Committee has elected elected Solange Cesarovna (Cabo Verde, SCM) and Juca Novaes (Brazil, Abramus) as Vice Presidents during the ExCo meeting in Paris on February 5th and 6th. The Vice Presidents will assist CIAM President Arriën Molema with preparing meetings and strategy sessions as well as contributing their expertise to support CIAM.

Upon their election, CIAM President Arriën Molema said:

The Africa and Latin America regions have seen significant growth and influence in music in recent years, and having Vice Presidents from two such important regions shows the diversity of CIAM and co-aligns with our mission to support creators worldwide. Cabo Verde singer-songwriter and African Music Academy representative Solange Cesarovna said:

This achievement is not just a personal honor but a significant step forward for all African music creators, ensuring our voices and musical rights resonate more powerfully on the global stage.

Brazilian composer, songwriter, and ALCAM representative Juca Novaes said:
