Mechanical Licensing Collective Receives $424 Million from Digital Service Providers

In the United States, the Mechanical Licensing Collective (MLC) announced receiving $424 million from digital service providers (DSPs) in royalties. The MLC has also received data reports, which will allow for identifying usage related to these royalties. This data will now be used to connect the remuneration to music copyright owners for payment.
