Executive Committee Candidate - Amanda Brown

Dear Friends,

I would like to nominate for a second term membership of the CIAM Executive Committee. I am sure my reasons are similar to all of yours – a desire to fight the good fight in regards to protecting creators rights and copyrights, sharing knowledge and ideas – and building upon the camaraderie we have established as musicians, composers and song writers.

I bring the perspective of creators from the Asia Pacific region and the experience of a working screen composer. Like you, I have an inherent belief that music is a worthwhile, indeed necessary endeavour that, put simply, makes life better. And that people who work for years developing their craft deserve recognition, remuneration and respect.
