ECSA releases Manifesto to call on EU to achieve equitable, sustainable future for music creators
CIAM partner alliance ECSA has published its Manifesto to place the needs and priorities of music authors at the heart of Europe’s future policies.
ECSA's Manifesto covers challenges faced by creators, particularly the use of their works by AI companies without consent or transparency, dismal streaming royalties, and unfair contractual practices.
In the past, EU institutions and several European countries adopted recommendations and actions to address those challenges. ECSA is calling for these initiatives to become reality in order to achieve an equitable, sustainable, and thriving future for music creators
